Nature, The Nervous System, & You:
A Path to Healing & Soul Growth

Contemplative . Integrative . Science Backed . Transformative

Renewal, Reconnection & New Ways Forward
In a place of peace & power.

Join me for a restorative, transformative and insightful day at the beautiful Brandt Oyster River Hermitage, in Comox Valley.

In the spirit of their important nonprofit work uplifting the power of deep listening, transformative learning, and connecting people to wisdom, stewardship, and the beauty of the Earth through contemplative practice, I’ll be offering this workshop at a discounted price and a portion of every fee to attend goes to the Brandt Oyster River Hermitage Society.

Together, we’ll explore the powerful intersection of nature, contemplation, science, psychology and Spirit to help you overcome some of the most difficult struggles, you may face in your health, relationships, or desire to live a more spiritually integrated life.

Through guided meditations, contemplative walks, and deep dialogue, we’ll map a 6 Element path toward healing the nervous system and building true resilience and meaning. More than a basket of tools, we will be exploring a way of life.

About our location and host

The Brandt Oyster River Hermitage Society is a non-profit society that is dedicated to preserving the memory and promoting the legacy of Catholic hermit-priest Father Charles Brandt (1923-2020). The Hermitage sits on 28 acres of land in Black Creek, BC.

Father Charles’ final wishes were that his land would become a park, a quiet and soothing space in which people would come to commune with nature. He wanted people to fall in love with nature, to sit in its silence with a sense of wonder, and experience for themselves the sense of sacredness that he so cherished.

Rather than escaping from the world, Fr. Charles’ contemplative lifestyle led him to be drawn more deeply into it. He became an advocate for the protection of salmon, rivers and old growth forests.

The model of contemplative ecology he practiced integrates concern for the more than human world with a deep spiritual longing for oneness with the Divine.

The Brandt Oyster River Hermitage Society is dedicated not only to maintaining the hermitage where Fr. Charles lived, but also to promoting his vision for a deeper integration of ecology and spirituality.
